SensoPark
Your real-time sensor-driven parking assistant
SensoPark is a sensor-driven parking assistant, which uses real-time data collected by sensors to find parking spots, and helps drivers navigate to them easily. To identify available parking spots, SensoPark uses stationary and airborne sensor units; this combination enables a targeted and quick scanning of areas that results in reliable, real-time data.
The project provides the design of an innovative service while looking into the future of mobility and smart cities. It identifies the needs of potential customers, applicable technology, and the variety of values the service offers to its stakeholders.
The project was inspired by the City Scanner of the MIT Senseable City Lab; and was performed as a final assignment for the course Service Design.
